Cyber Security for Good: Strengthening Communities and Offering Access to Our 2025 Grantees

Taking care of the organizations and people who take care of their communities is at the heart of what RipRap Security does. Nonprofits and B Corps often have modest resources with which to make big changes, offer hope, and make a difference. Their work often makes them targets for scammers and hackers, putting their data, staff, and donors at risk.

These organizations should have access to excellent digital security support and advice, so that they can protect their organizations and communities from cyber threats.

In 2025, through our Cyber Security for Good® grant, we had the honor of providing 12 grantees with security services totaling more than $135,500. About 11% of our team’s working hours were allocated to RipRap’s pro bono efforts, including the support provided to our grant recipients.

Please note: To protect our partners from cyber security threats, we refrain from referring to them by name or with closely identifying details.

Here’s a snapshot of what some of these partnerships looked like:

  • We provided a wide variety of security services for four organizations serving asylum seekers, immigrants, refugees, and migrants. These organizations provide food, shelter, humanitarian aid, access to legal resources, and education to their constituents.

  • We supported an organization serving 2SLGBTQIA+ youth with a Cyber Security Roadmap Assessment, setting it up for safe and sustainable cyber security improvements.

  • We worked with multiple organizations that champion racial justice and equity. One group received our Cyber Security Foundations course, making sure that it's on solid, secure footing.

If you are part of an organization that would benefit from our grant, sign up to be notified when the application window opens in 2026.
